A corporate event is always a means to an end. That means, for it to be truly effective, we need to focus on the desired results first and foremost.
What do we want the audience to know, feel and do as a result of having experienced that event?
In essence, we need to design backwards.
And perhaps nowhere is this approach more important than when considering a charity event such as the Jewish House Annual Fundraising Gala Dinner.
Sure, we wanted guests to dig deep on the night. So, we created an experience that encouraged that behaviour. But, more importantly, we wanted to encourage the audience to form or deepen a long lasting relationship with Jewish House. And, for this to happen, we needed to appeal to both the intellect as well as the emotions – the left and the night side of the brain.
We also needed to ensure that there was ongoing communication with the audience – not just once a year when the annual event rolls around – but regular and carefully crafted.
We worked collaboratively with Jewish House to design an event that not only raised significant funds on the night, but served as the catalyst for a long term relationship with the community.
Our goal was to work alongside Jewish House to deliver powerful results – now and well into the future.
