Sinclair Knight Mertz has a tradition of holding End of Financial Year celebrations for all Sydney based staff and their partners. In 2011, Verve Creative Events was appointed to design and manage this crucial event in the SKM calendar. The challenge, of course, was to create something that had never been seen before, that provided guests with an experience to remember, with the ultimate goal of staff recognition and motivation.

Bollywood themes are not a new concept. Verve Creative Events transformed the room into a little slice of India in the Ivy Ballroom. We worked closely with the in-house catering team to create a truly unique menu that became part of the very fabric of the event. The food itself was an integral component to the overall theming. Guests were encouraged to arrive in costume further adding to the rich tapestry of the event. The climax the introduction of a genuine Indian dance troupe who quickly engaged guests in a mass Bollywood dance performance.
